(More customer reviews)This product would have been great if not made from a bright plastic. When the tanning bed turns on, the SunGlobes turn into a blinding bright colored light. It is almost unbearable to use these things in the tanning bed since they glow so bright.
If you don't mind the feeling of staring straight ito the sun despite your eyes being closed, then this product is fine.

Pro Specs Tanning Goggles one pair 2 in 1 eye wear NEW Review

(More customer reviews)I do stand up tanning. The one piece eye goggles with the black elastic bands that detach ALL OF THE TIME were getting me irritated, but what do you expect for $1.50? The chain tan salon I go to has 2 eye wear choices if you're a stand up tanner, aside from the 50 cent per pair disposable "winkies", to choose from. Thus, the $4.99 "Pro-Specs" were chosen. They do have hinged nosed bridges where they are attached to the eye covers (see pictures), however, these extremely teeney tiney flimsey little hinges do not, I repeat, do not, withstand more than a few hingings. I don't throw them around, I keep them carefully stowed in between use. They are just a piece of junk. I just want to protect my eyes. If I spend $1.50 or $10.00, please don't make a product that constantly breaks which is probably the most important safeguard used in the tanning salons!

The casing was too small so it had been squished in.
I couldn't get it to straighted out so it'll fit over my eyes.
Pretty worthless and not even worth the money to send back...

(More customer reviews)Ordered this product with the intention to use in a stand up tanning bed - I try to avoid all of the fungi growing on the usual beds. The goggles arrived in a timely manner, though without the promised elastic strap. I don't even know how a strap would be attached to these things. These goggles will barely stay on my face with a little squinting while standing (I have a larger sized head). My fiance can't get them to stay put at all.
They also let some light in while I'm wearing them (through the resulting crevices on the top and bottom). One is able to see the majority of the visual field with these on, in rose color anyway. There are no specifics listed as to how much UV protection is provided. There is a mention of adherence to some tanning guideline/law but after looking this up I was unsure of any implication for tanning goggles in the document. Seems a little dubious.
Also, the description says "random pick colors" which may be true. Unfortunately, I received the pepto-pink shown. Maybe I was unlucky, but I wonder how many others are really getting different colors. That's not really a big deal, but what IS a big deal is charging almost seven dollars for something that others are charging only a couple for then lying about the contents.
