(More customer reviews)Being quite pale, but unwilling to sacrifice my health for a decent tan, I've tried many self-tanners. All the previous tanners I used would turn my skin a strange orange color, and not only that, but I would look like an orange zebra for about 3 or 4 days. Anyway, for whatever reason, I decided to try a banana boat product, since I had heard such great things about them. I discovered the first self-tanner (that I've tried) that actually looks like a natural tan. The only downside is that it only lasts a few days. However, compared to all of the other products out there, in opinion, this one is the best. I also love the instant bronzer. It's great being able to see how it will look when it dries, and if there are any streaks or sploches that need to be remedied (which there have been none) I highly recommend this product.

(More customer reviews)This bronzer is great because as a colored foam, it is so easy to apply and you can see the coverage instantly, so if you have not applied evenly, you'll know right away. Every summer we spend a week at the beach and this product allows me to have that same tanned look all summer long without being in the sun. I love it!

(More customer reviews)This is the best sunless tanner!!! First, the price is awesome---I got it at walmart for $6.42. It is oderless!!!! Thank goodness! No more nasty tanner smell! I have very fair skin with pink undertones, and this tanner looks natural on me. I tried several other types, and they didn't get dark enough. I'm a ballroom dancer, and I need something dark for those skimpy Latin costumes. This one did the trick! It has a bronzer so you can see where you're putting it, and it goes on flawlessly. Before I put it on, I made sure my skin was clean (but not straight out of the shower--wait until your skin cools off so it doesn't come off with the rubbing), I put regular lotion on my feet, elbows, knees, and hairline of my face so the tanner stayed light in those areas. Then, I put the sunless tanner on my legs. Washed/scrubbed my hands. Put it on my back and stomach. Washed/scrubbed my hands. Face. Arms. Washed/scrubbed my hands. Then, I put a dot on the back of one of my hands and rubbed the backs of my hands and wrists together. Then, walk around naked for 15-30 minutes. I have a flawless tan! This is the best tanner I've ever used!!!

(More customer reviews)I rarely write reviews here but felt I had to in this case. I have used all sorts of self tanners, from very high end to the daily touch of color ones. I tried this one not expecting much but what I got was subtle, natural looking color with no streaks and no orange hue. I have medium skin and chose the light to medium shade because I wanted just subtle color. I applied sparingly to my arms and chest and the product dried almost immediately. In an hour, I could see a nice bronze color developing that was subtle but flattering.
On my legs, this product looks great. I have very pasty legs and need some color. I got uniform, very natural looking color from one application. It was not super deep but I only wanted a little color, not to look baked in the sun. I also use this on my face. It's oil free and doesn't clog my pores. My face is a couple of shades deeper and looks so much healthier!
Banana Boat Sunless Summer Color Tinted Lotion, Light to Medium fades in a few days without patchiness but the color can be maintained with twice a week applications. There is no awful scent to deal with and the light tint guides me to where I need to apply it. I am not very careful when I use this and still, I have not seen a streak. I like that in three hours, I know exactly what the color will be and can apply another thin layer if I want to go darker. I usually don't. The key is to apply sparingly and not get wet for about three hours. I have had disasters with other products but not with this one.
I know everyone is different but I have used this tanner for months and never had a streak. I like the color and I like how easy it is to apply. Not having a sickening scent is a plus. Try it. It's inexpensive and can be loofahed off if you don't like it but I think many will. I am picky. I won't walk around looking like a zebra or a pumpkin and I look like neither when I use Banana Boat Sunless Summer Color Tinted Lotion, Light to Medium. I look subtly sun kissed and healthy. Can't beat that for a few bucks a tube!
