(More customer reviews)I bought this exact set at Costco over the holidays. I'd used Watkins products in the past -- lavender scented, and lemon as well. The fact that the store was running a discount on this gift set, along with the dryness in central Texas, compelled me to buy this.
I am now officially hooked on Watkins moisturizers, and Lemon Cream is by far my favorite fragrance. This is a slightly sweet, very lemony scent. It doesn't smell exactly like vanilla, but there is a sweetness with the lemon. So yes, the scent veers closer to lemon tart than lemon tree. The scent even mixes well with the fragrance I generally wear, which has lemon notes.
As for the products in this set, the hand and cuticle salve is useful. I prefer the shea butter body cream, in the tube, and the hand and body lotion, in the pump. These two products are wonderful, and I cannot imagine doing without them.
These products do not smell like breakfast cereal.
