(More customer reviews)I've found this product to provide a nice tan, if you take the time to apply it at least once a day for 4-5 days. The days you can get it on twice, such as in the morning and in the evening, you will really notice the difference.
The color will fade after about the 2nd day, so you would need to put it on at least every other day to maintain that level of tan. But it will get you dark with consistent use.
As far as washing off, I suppose it would if you bathed within a couple hours of putting it on. But I've never done that. What I would recommend is letting it dry for 15 minutes before you get into bed or do anything else that would rub on your skin.
